Fruit Sparklers

Prep: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 Crazy Fresh watermelon tenderloin
  • 8 strawberries
  • Handful of blueberries
  • 8 skewers
  • Star-shaped cookie cutter

Directions:

  1. Cut watermelon tenderloin in half to create two 1-inch thick pieces.
  2. Take each piece and punch out star shapes using the cookie cutter.
  3. Cap the strawberries and put on skewer followed by blueberries and watermelon stars.

Bunny Rabbit Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 strawberries, sliced
  • 3 blueberries, sliced
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 drops of two food coloring colors

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk egg, water and cinnamon until incorporated.
  2. Separate in half, adding one color food coloring to each half.
  3. Dip bread into egg mix and cook in skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes a side or until golden brown.
  4. Use one slice of bread for the body, and cut the other to make the tail.
  5. Garnish with sliced strawberries and blueberries

 

French Toast Fish

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 strawberries, sliced
  • 3 blueberries, sliced
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 drops of two food coloring colors

Monster Faces

Ingredients

  • 1 Kiwi Fruit
  • 2 Strawberries, sliced
  • 8 Candy eyes
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • Frosting

Directions

  1. Peel the kiwi and cut into quarters lengthwise.
  2. Cut slits into kiwi ¾ of the way to the core.
  3. Put strawberry slice in slit making the tongue.
  4. Push the pine nuts into kiwi above the tongue to form the teeth.
  5. Glue the candy eyes to the kiwi with the frosting.

Fruit Palm Tree

Prep: 5 minutes

Cook: 6 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Kiwi fruit
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Directions

  1. Cut kiwi into wedges and banana into coins.
  2. In a sauté pan melt butter and sugar together and add cinnamon. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Put banana coins into butter sugar mix and cook 3 minutes a side.

Fruit Butterflies

Prep: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Resealable snack bag
  • 2 Handfuls of your favorite snack
  • Clothes pin
  • Pipe cleaners

Directions

  1. Put snacks in bag with space in the middle.
  2. Pinch bag and the pipe cleaner with the clothes pin.
  3. Twist into antennae.

Banana Dog

Prep: 5 minutes

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 1 Hot dog bun
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp jelly
  • 1 Banana

Directions

  • Spread peanut butter and jelly in bun and place banana in bun. Enjoy.

Apple Doughnuts

Prep: 5 minutes
Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 Apple, cored and slice horizontally
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • Sprinkles
  • Food Coloring (optional)

Directions

  • Pipe yogurt onto apples and cover with sprinkles. For added fun add a few drops of food coloring to the yogurt.
